DietBB Plenary Meeting 2017 in Bonn

On September 26, 2017, partners and members of the DietBB Competence Cluster met for the 3rd Plenary Meeting in Bonn.

This year, the meeting was focused on the work of the young scientists, who are researching within the framework of Diet-Body-Brain. Five researchers from various subprojects presented their work with initial results and gave an outlook on the future.

The topics ranged from the first data and findings from the postprandial study, from the successful use of the NutriDiary app to assess dietary behavior, to progress in polyphenol analysis, the supply of polyphenols and chronic diseases to questions of food selection and communication.

In addition to the research discussions, the focus was also on the constructive exchange for the second funding period. In the light of the fact that the follow-up application and further project planning have been carried out in the past months. Professor Ute Nöthlings (speaker) was able to announce the successful first step - the submission of application.
